Delays for commuters back into Barrie are something to be expected from time to time. Tonight just after 6:30pm Emergency Services received calls for a vehicle that had made its way in the tracks at the Allandale Station. Upon arrival Barrie Police removed the driver and waited for Paramedics to arrive for a full assessment.

Passengers onboard the Go train were required to wait on board until it was safe to proceed. (around 7:30pm)

Other minor changes include shuttle busses serving all later arrivals and departures with Northbound trains ending in Aurora and Southbound in Bradford to accommodate Barrie Police's investigation.

A witness on scene mention how lucky the driver was as the train enter the station at a low speed.

We will update this story if any additional information becomes available
